Colour Challenge

A part of our monthly meetings we get a stamping challenge and see what we can create. This month it is a colour challenge using Stampin' Up! old olive, morning marigold, lavender lace and rose red. I have been spending some time with this and have come up with 10 cards using these colours. Challenge yourself to see what you can create with them.

Swaps

I am lucky enough to get together with a group of wonderful Stampin' Up! Demonstrators
once a month where we get to swap cards. I think this one of my favorite things to do. You get to make a card and
swap it for a card from another demonstrator. It's a great way to get new ideas as everyone have there own style.
This months swap theme was to use Polka Dots and Paisleys from the upcoming Spring Mini Catalogue.
The card on the above left was the card I swapped and the above right was created by Stacey.
The bottom left was created by Alicia and the bottom right was created by Bev.

Tuesday's Make & Takes

These are the two make and take cards we made at our meeting
on Tuesday night.The top card is created by Bev and the card below
was made by Alicia. Bev's card uses the faux shaving cream technique
which I can't wait to use in one of my classes.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Have you made your Valentine a card yet? After spending a wonderful weekend away on Salt Spring Island for an early Valentine's I thought I should start thinking about what card to give Shad this year. With this in mind I thought I would try a couple and see what I could come up with. This card features the wonderful double sided designer papers from Stampin' Up! winter mini catalogue.
