I am hosting my final Relay for Life stamp event on Saturday June 2nd and I am really excited . I still have space available for this event so feel free to drop by between 12:00-4:00. There will be a chance to stamp a luminary ($5) which will be used at the relay and cards ($2.00 each) with all proceeds going to the Rose's Buds team. There will be munchies, door prizes, new samples and the last chance to use some of our favorite stamp sets before they retire. I will also have a few sets from previous years that will be for sale as well.
You made my first event so successful so let's do it again this Saturday. The weather is suppose to be great so I will set up outside so we can enjoy the wonderful day. I look forward to seeing you Saturday. If you are unable to attend and would like to decorate a luminary or contribute to our team please let me know.

It's Retirement time again

Stampin' Up! has released there list of retired sets and wheels.
I must say I am sad to see a few of my favorite sets such as Baby Firsts, Fishy Friends, Petal Prints, Favorite Teddy Bear and Kanji. I must remember this gives them lots of space to add new favorites.
I can say based on the new set I received at regionals it will be exciting to see the new catalogue. Don't forget that the in colours will also be leaving and a new 6 in colours( Wild Wasabi, Purely pomegranate, groovy guava, soft sky, blue bayou, river rock) are coming and they are beautiful. I have only seen a picture of them. Remember to stock up on the must have incolours like cool carribbean and cranberry crisp before they disappear.

Regionals
I can't believe there are so many people just like me that love to stamp. It was extremely exciting when you get them all in on space. I know I mentioned swaps before I left but I had no idea the magnitude of this. We were standing in line waiting to go in and there was a never ending line of demo's asking to swap. I was out of my swaps before even getting into the event. It is a great way to get to know demonstrators from all over and see how talented they are. Here are a few pictures showing the swap extravaganza.
As part of our kit for the day we get a new set from the upcoming catalogue and we get to use it for our projects that day. In between projects they would do demo's which were amazing and I can't wait to share and there were display boards everywhere. What fantastic ideas. I took ton's of pictures.
I was also lucky enough to be asked to play the family feud with a few of my friends and what a blast. We were doing pretty well (we were tied) until the last question and the other team won the points. We were all winners with a new stamp set .
I had a fantastic time with the group of demonstrators that I went with and have to thank everyone for making my first regionals so much fun. I can't wait to do it again. Maybe convention....I am afraid that will have to wait until next year.
