Scrap A Card

What is a Scrap a Card?
It is a 6X6 card that when split up fits perfectly into a brag book. The left is the front of the card and the right is the inside. You can always add your message on the inside left.
This would be a great Mother's day idea. First you would give mom a beautiful 6X6 album and of course the first 2 pages as her card and then with each holiday create a beautiful card that can be added throughout the year. It's a great keepsake.
Thanks to Lisa for letting me use the great pictures of Susannah. She's to cute.

Stampin' Up! Regionals

With regionals only a week away I have been working hard on finishing my swaps.
I will be attending a stamp event the evening before with some on the demonstrators on the mainland and everyone will brings a make n take to share so I will be doing a whole lot of stamping on Friday night. We will also take part in a swap. After a busy night we will attend regionals all day Saturday. A whole lot of stamping will be going on that weekend.
I am not going crazy with swaps and I will keep it to a nice respectable 25 I think. It could be more depending on how quickly I finish them. At regionals you get to swap card fronts (not full cards) and a lot of the demonstrators make 100's.We all love crazy stampers like ourselves.
I thought I would share the cards I plan on taking.
I will be sure to share all my new samples once I return.

Faux Shaving Cream

The birthday cake on this card is created using the faux shaving cream technique.
Bev shared this technique with us at one of our last meetings. I love learning new techiques.
She used a great colour combo of tempting turquoise and green galore. Using a little bit of ribbon always adds something special.
Thanks to Bev for another fantastic card.
Be sure to attend my next techniques class to learn how.

Happy Easter!

The Easter bunny is coming in just a few days and here are a few samples for just the occasion.
Both these cards use the both the tag punches.
The card above card features bahsful blue, apricot appeal, regal rose cardstock. They are great spring colours.
The card on the bottom was created by Alicia at our last group meeting. It has the tag suspended in the centre. It actually spins a little which is a great feature.
I hope that the easter bunny comes to see me on Sunday as you all know I love chocolate.
